It monitors your excess solar
ChargeHQ connects to your solar inverter, home battery or home energy monitor over the Internet to continuously track when and how much energy is being exported to the grid.
It controls your Tesla's charging
ChargeHQ then connects to your Tesla via WiFi/cellular and controls the rate of charge when there is solar energy available. By constantly monitoring production it can adjust the rate of charge to match.
If the car doesn't receive enough charge during the day, Charge HQ can automatically schedule a top-up from off-peak grid energy overnight.
