If you have previously connected Charge HQ to your AlphaESS battery and are trying to reconnect, you must use a different procedure. Please follow the reconnect instructions at the bottom of this page.
Before starting configuration - please check your device compatibility and supported configurations.
Open the Charge HQ webapp, choose My Equipment from the menu, then select Connect your Solar / Battery Equipment.
Select AlphaESS from the list.
Obtain the following information from the label on your inverter:
Enter the Serial Number and Check Code and press Send Verification Code.
NOTE: if you receive an error when clicking Send Verification Code, and you have connected your battery to Charge HQ in the past, please follow the instructions at the bottom of this page.
Check the email account that is associated with your Alpha Cloud account. You should have received an email containing a Verification Code. It can take a few minutes for this email to arrive.
Enter the Verification Code into the Charge HQ app and press Connect.
Your AlphaESS battery should now be configured, providing Charge HQ with visibility of your solar production, battery usage and solar exports.

If you have previously connected your Alpha ESS battery and are trying to reconnect, it it not possible or necessary to request a verification code. Instead, do this:
Your battery should reconnect to Charge HQ.
