A number of smart EV chargers use a configuration interface which is accessed by entering the IP address of the device into your web browser.
When the EV charger is connected to your home network, this IP address is automatically assigned by your home WiFi router, and will change from time to time.
Your home WiFi router maintains a list of connected devices, the list is accessible either via an app for the router or often, a configuration interface which is also accessed via an IP address from your web browser.
Consult your WiFi router manual for guidance on accessing the configuration interface of the router.
Once you are logged into this interface, you will find a list of connected devices. Each different router will use a different name, it’s commonly referred to as:
The list will usually include the names of devices, look for something matching the make or model of your EV charger.
Enter the IP address matching the device into your browser. Follow the EV charger manual for assistance with logging in.
