Troubleshooting
For the Caro charger to work with Charge HQ it needs to be connected to the Internet via a reliable WiFi connection, and needs to be correctly to configured to communicate with Charge HQ.
You can check these two requirements via the charger configuration interface, when you login the home screen should show:
Server Status: Connected, this indicates there is an OCPP connection to Charge HQ
Network Status: Online, this indicates the charger has an Internet connection
If the charger does not connect to Charge HQ immediately, try turning it off then on and wait 5 minutes.
Using the mobile app supplied by the vendor may change the Networking Mode set in Step 1 to Bluetooth. This will stop the charger from working with Charge HQ. Ensure the Networking Mode remains set on WiFi
At the time of testing, validation of settings entered on the configuration interface did not work correctly on a mobile device. If you are having trouble configuring the charger, try using a laptop / desktop computer for configuration.
